Faith Montessori Kindergarten will focus on the children as individuals and help them grow in reading, math, science, and Bible knowledge. Music, art, and gym are also areas where the child will learn to always do their personal best. The A BEKA program will be used for Math, Reading, and Science in cooperation with the Montessori materials.

At Faith Kindergarten, we will strive to lead children through an educational experience that allows them to reach their God given potential.

Faith Montessori Preschool and kdg  is committed to help children grow spiritually with a Montessori approach to education.

Key goals of Faith Montessori Kindergarten

  • Independence is encouraged with daily routines (Completing work contracts, choosing work in all subject areas to complete, hanging coats up, rinsing off lunch plates, etc.).
  • Opportunities to learn at the child’s pace. Given the small class size the teacher will have time to work with each child several times a day to guide them in completing their work.
  • The children will learn to take some interest and responsibility in their learning. Daily contracts must be complete before the child can choose their activity. Time management is an important skill.
  • Community service projects will take place throughout the year.
  • We aim to give the child an outlet for their curiosity, self motivation, and their innate ability to learn.
  • Afternoon will include the use of daily learning standards in creative ways, socializing, and downtime to just reflect on the day and get any extra help where needed.
